Autex is a long-standing supporter of the local community, sponsoring a range of social, charitable and sporting organisations. Though these groups play an important role in the community, they are largely dependent on donations for survival. Our support of these organisations helps ensure the continuation of their great work and allows us to give something back to the community we’re proud to be part of.

Supporting young people and sports groups

Autex supports a number of youth-focused organisations, including the Foundation for Youth Development. FYD runs programmes designed to improve the skills and achievements of young New Zealanders and deliver wider economic and social benefits to the community. Its initiatives include Project K, a programme that challenges 14 and 15-year-olds through wilderness adventures, community-based activities and mentoring programmes.

Autex also supports welfare programmes run through our local Auckland secondary school, Avondale College. In Australia Autex supports kids’ charity Variety, which works to improve the lives of sick, disadvantaged and special needs children and their families.

Autex is an enthusiastic supporter of rugby league and sponsor of the New Zealand Rugby League museum in Penrose. For the last 10 years we have also been a key sponsor of the local golf club, Titirangi Golf Club, based at one of the oldest and most established courses in New Zealand.

Supporting industry specialists in building, construction and interior design

Autex support and sponsor Architectural Designers New Zealand Incorporated. ADNZ is a professional body of over 350 Architectural Designers and Architects that have had their skills rigorously assessed. Members are experienced professionals committed to integrity and accountability in their work.

Autex Interior Acoustics support and sponsor the New Zealand Retail Interior Association. NZRIA exist to facilitate networking between designers, shop fitters and suppliers, actively promoting standards of service and value.
